But these men are not learning pre-natal skills in order to help their wives. They're learning how to take care of a baby in order to help get a wife.

The company called Ikumen University offers a class for men to become more appealing to potential life partners by teaching them things like infant care.

This 42-year-old says he's been working so hard for so long -- he's simply forgotten about the courtship process.

Men in the class will also learn spousal communication and how to talk about their feelings.

The founder of the company says the certificate upon completion of the class will beef up your dating resume.

"Matchmaking agencies can advertise these men as having 'extra value,' by letting potential partners know they will support the marriage," he said.

The day long class was the first to be held in Tokyo and cost participants about $294.
