Unrecognizable! Kelly Preston debuts brand new hair color at Emmy Awards

Kelly Preston just took a turn to the darker side!

The 53-year-old actress hit the 2016 Emmy Awards on Sunday alongside her husband, John Travolta, and she showed off an entirely new look with much darker tresses.

Preston switched up her typically blonde tresses to a dark brunette shade and also added a set of bangs. She was nearly unrecognizable as she made her way down the red carpet in a black and red dress. She had a very 1970s vibe going with her feathered hair and her modest dress and it was definitely a departure from the blonde bombshell we're used to seeing.

We're guessing she switched up her tresses to a darker shade after playing the role of Victoria Gotti opposite Travolta in "The Life and Death of John Gotti."

Preston was on tap to support her hubby who was nominated for an Emmy for his portrayal of Robert Shapiro in "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story."
