Report of woman held captive in Ohio leads to gruesome discovery

Police have confirmed the identity of one woman found dead earlier this week. The body of Stacey Stanley, a 43-year-old woman was discovered after she had been reported missing from Huron County. The cause of death has not been determined.

On Tuesday, police released the 911 call from another woman who called from inside the house on Tuesday and said she was abducted. The woman was rescued after police arrived on scene.

In the call, she tells the dispatcher that Shawn Grate, her abductor, is asleep in the home.

After investigating, three dead bodies were found in Ashland and Richland counties.

When Shawn Grate was arrested he told police that another dead body was hidden in Richland County.
One of the bodies has been identified as Stacey Stanley. According to her family, she went missing on September 8.No causes of death have been released, and investigators also have not given any possible motives.

Family previously told Fox 8 that Stanley was one of the victims found. Her son, Kory Stanley said he'd been looking for her for nearly a week.

"Last time I spoke with her she said she was getting coffee and going home; she never made it home that night," he said. "I feel so bad, I couldn't help her -- protect my mom."

Family members say Stacy Stanley was one of the victims. She was last seen with a flat tire at a gas station just blocks from the scene.

Authorities say Grate led them to another location, where the remains of a third person was found near a burned house.

Grate is being held in the Ashland County on a charge of abduction and could face additional charges.
