NFL picks and predictions: Week 2
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Chicago Bears (CHI -3)
Monday, 8:30 p.m. ET

It's difficult to predict how good Carson Wentz -- and the rest of the Eagles, for that matter -- truly are after beating up on Cleveland in Week 1, but if the young quarterback can come close to repeating his performance, the Bears are a candidate to be on the wrong side of an upset at home.
Pick: Eagles
HOW'D WE DO ON SUNDAY?
New Orleans Saints vs. New York Giants (NYG -4.5)
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET

Odell Beckham isn't the only weapon Eli Manning has at his disposal anymore. Both Sterling Shephard and Victor Cruz caught touchdowns in Week 1, while New York's defensive line had Dallas' league-best O-Line on the brink.
Drew Brees' offense will put up points, but the Giants shouldn't have a problem doing a number on the sorry New Orleans defense at MetLife.
Pick: Giants
Tennessee Titans vs. Detroit Lions (DET -5.5)
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET

Without Calvin Johnson, Matt Stafford was able to spread targets to a number of receivers and outlast the Colts in a shootout. Tennessee still hasn't proven an ability to hang in with more talented teams, which makes them a tough sell for a road upset.
Pick: Lions
Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Redskins (WAS -2.5)
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET

Don't look now, but Kirk Cousins put up an awfully shaky performance in Week 1. While poor time management derailed Dallas' chances in Week 1, if Dak Prescott builds on his solid NFL debut, the Cowboys could be in position to knock Washington down to 0-2.
Pick: Cowboys
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Houston Texans (HOU -2.5)
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET

After squeaking by San Diego with a come-from-behind victory, the Chiefs now face a tougher test in traveling to Houston. It should be a low-scoring affair, but Lamar Miller and DeAndre Hopkins comprise a duo that few defenses around the league can contain over a full game.
Pick: Texans
Miami Dolphins vs. New England Patriots (NE -6.5)
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET

Miami did well to hang in on the road against Seattle, but in New England they'll be going up against a much more developed offense. Rolling off the momentum of a Week 1 road win against Arizona, look for the Patriots to handle Miami in Foxboro.
Pick: Patriots
Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns (BAL -6.5)
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET

Baltimore has the good fortune of opening their year against a pair of lowly opponents, and it'll have a chance to start 2-0 against a Browns team that's already on their second starting quarterback of the season.
Pick: Ravens
San Francisco 49ers vs. Carolina Panthers (CAR -13.5)
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET

Carolina clocks in as the biggest favorites of Week 2, favored by nearly two touchdowns. And even with the spread, we still might be inclined to take them at home against San Francisco.
Pick: Panthers
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (PIT -3)
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET

We didn't need to wait long to get a rematch of these AFC North rivals, both coming off Week 1 wins. Pittsburgh will have the edge at home, but expect a gritty battle to the finish line.
Pick: Steelers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Arizona Cardinals (ARI -6.5)
Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET

Tampa Bay got its campaign off to an encouraging start with a win in Atlanta, but the Cardinals come in with a chip on their shoulder following a Week 1 loss to a Brady-less (and Gronk-less) Patriots team.
Pick: Cardinals
Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Rams (SEA -7)
Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET
Getty
While Seattle didn't appear at the top of its game in Week 1, the Rams didn't look fit to play on an NFL field against the 49ers. It will be a ceremonious afternoon in Los Angeles, but don't expect the Rams to contend for long.
Pick: Seahawks
Atlanta Falcons vs. Oakland Raiders (OAK -4.5)
Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET
Getty
While Atlanta is coming off a disappointing home loss to a division rival, the Raiders confirmed their offseason hype by knocking off the Saints. Look for their momentum to roll into and through Week 2.
Pick: Raiders
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. San Diego Chargers (SD -3)
Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET
Getty
San Diego is favored at home, but without Keenan Allen, Philip Rivers will struggle to find suitable options to move the ball through the air. Melvin Gordon finally living up to his pre-draft hype gives the Chargers hope, but look for Jacksonville to put the pressure on them.
Pick: Jaguars
Indianapolis Colts vs. Denver Broncos (DEN -6)
Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET
Getty
The Broncos offense actually seemed up to snuff in Week 1 with Trevor Siemian manning the controls, and the team's defense was as stingy as ever against a tough Panthers unit. Until the Colts prove that they can return to their 2014 level of competition, we won't be taking them on the road against Super Bowl contenders.
Pick: Broncos
Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings (GB -2.5)
Sunday, 8:30 p.m. ET
Getty
Signs are pointing to Sam Bradford taking over the offense for Week 2, but it's unclear whether it'll provide much of a boost to the Vikings' chances. Minnesota's defense isn't a breeze to score against, but it's not easy to bet against Aaron Rodgers in prime time.
Pick: Packers
