If you're looking for some motivation, Julian Edelman's LinkedIn page has got you covered

We imagine that one of the best parts of being an athlete is dodging the traditional job search requirements – the resumes, LinkedIn profiles and cover letters we all love to hate.

But, for whatever reason, Julian Edelman chooses to have a LinkedIn page.

Now, it's not a fully complete profile. He keeps his circle small with a little over 100 connections and he only includes the job he holds now (which is definitely more impressive than anything we have on our profiles, but still).

The 'Current player for the New England Patriots football team' actually has a very thorough and thoughtful profile summary.

And it pretty much tells us exactly what his plans after the NFL will include.

'Julian Edelman, motivational speaker' has a nice ring to it.

The former Kent State University student was a Business Management and Marketing major back in 2008. He was drafted by the Patriots in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL draft.

Other than the –- you know -– professional football career, Edelman seems like a fairly normal guy. He's definitely inspirational, coming off of injuries to become one of New England's most threatening weapons on the field.
