3 Earth-sized planets discovered in Aquarius

Outside of our solar system we have several exa-planets scientist have pegged as places we may expect to find possible alien life.

There was a huge splash recently with the announcement that there's a planet thought to be in the closest star system called Proxima B.

It's incredible that it's only 4 light years away which in space is like the fridge from the couch.

However, as scientists like to do, there's another big announcement that is kinda one upping Proxima B.

That news comes from a system called Trappist1, which is a system pushing 40 light years away in the constellation Aquarius.

The researchers are saying the relatively dim star has three earth sized planets and one of them could be in the habitable zone.

The find is so exciting to scientists because with our current technology today we may be able to tell if there's intelligent life or life at all.

It all hinges on our ability to detect the make up of a foreign planet's atmosphere.

E.T. we could find you yet!
