Zac Posen redefines elegance in spring line

Updated

Details, details, details.

It's all about the subtle but brilliant details for Zac Posen's Spring/Summer 2017 line. The designer is known for his classically simple designs in solid colors and fabrics.

But this year, he took it up a notch with a gorgeously detailed line. It was full of stunning embellishments, prints and embroidery. Still, in typical Posen fashion, the outfits were modern, sleek and sophisticated.

"For Spring 2017 I envisioned a collection with the craftsmanship I am known for but made in technical fabrics to give it an airy feminine transparent and modern feel," the designer said.

For much of the collection, that included glass beads, transparent fabrics and mesh embroidery. Posen's floral-print ensembles played into the floral theme traditional for springtime fashion, but even covered in flowers each piece stayed true to the designer's focus on modern color — and it was gorgeous!
