Gavin Rossdale and Elin Nordegren reportedly go on a first date

Could this be a match made in heaven?

Gwen Stefani's cheating ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, has taken Tiger Woods' ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, out on a date, UsWeekly reports. Both Rossdale and Nordegren have endured extremely embarrassing and very public divorce scandals, so perhaps they have a bit to talk about.

The duo reportedly went out on their first date on August 27 in Los Angeles and were set up by mutual friends. They apparently hit it off and now they're planning a second date.

"Elin flies to L.A. on her private plane a lot," a source told UsWeekly. "They want to make it work."

Nordegren is based out of Florida where she raised her kids, Sam, 9, and Charlie, 7, and Rossdale is between Los Angeles and London where he has three kids with his ex, Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2.

While Rossdale hasn't pursued anyone publicly after he was caught cheating with his kids' nanny, Gwen definitely has. She's been dating her "The Voice" co-star Blake Shelton for months.

In 2009, Nordegren made headlines when she bashed in her pro golfer husband's car with his golf clubs after she found out he had been unfaithful with multiple women. The pair finalized their divorce in August 2010.
