This one natural ingredient is the absolute best way to heal a burn.

Honey has antibacterial properties and can speed up the healing process of mild burns.

Manuka honey in particular is especially effective because it has a higher level of enzymes.

Be sure to look for Manuka honey with a UMF of 10+ or higher, which is a measure of antibacterial strength.

Simply spread some of the honey over the wound and cover it with a dry, sterile gauze pad. Then use sports bandage or medical tape to wrap over the gauze and keep it in place.

Make sure to change your bandage daily without washing off the honey.

Remember, if the burn is severe or an open wound, it is best to seek medical treatment.

For minor burns though, Manuka honey is your best friend and works wonders.
