Team USA gymnasts play life-sized Hungry, Hungry Hippos with Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon's talented "Tonight Show" set designer is probably currently at work on a gigantic version of Don't Break the Ice. Or at least, he or she should be.

Until then, we'll have to settle for the late-night king playing a little life-sized Hungry, Hungry Hippos with his guests. That's a compromise TheWrap — and the Internet — can live with.

The fun-and-games guy welcomed "Atlanta" star Donald Glover and Team USA's gold-medal-winning Final Five women to his highly rated NBC program last night. And from the get-go, the recently Rio-returned gymnasts had this whole competition thing locked up, as one might expect.

Naturally, the rag-tag team of Glover and Tariq Trotter of The Roots finished fourth, four balls behind bronze medalists Fallon and Simone Biles. That's not a normal spot for Biles, but she took it in stride.

The winning squad actually only won this whole thing by one ball, or we suppose, one hippo pellet. Everyone else had better practice up for Tokyo in 2020, just in case Hungry, Hungry Humans makes a surprise appearance. Or they can probably just stick to kicking ass at flippy things.
