Hillary Clinton, appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Monday, said that rumors that she is in ill health are part of a "wacky strategy" against her.

"Back in October, the National Enquirer said I would be dead in six months. So with every breath I take I feel like I have a new lease on life," Clinton quipped to Kimmel, according to CNN and other reports. "I don't know why they are saying this. I think on the one hand it is part of the wacky strategy — just say all these crazy things and maybe you can get some people to believe you."

Kimmel had Clinton open a can of pickles to show that she was strong.

Clinton said that it "absolutely makes no sense" to spread the rumors about her health. "I don't go around questioning Donald Trump's health. As far as I can tell, he's as healthy as a horse."

Drudge Report has linked to stories that have called into question Clinton's health, and even former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a Trump supporter, recently cited the Internet rumors in an appearance on Fox News. The Clinton campaign even released a statement from her personal physician in which he wrote that she is in "excellent health."
