Emma Stone sings through an audition in new 'La La Land' teaser

Emma Stone beautifully sings her way through an audition in a new teaser for "La La Land."

The video gives audiences a glimpse into what they should expect when the movie, also starring Ryan Gosling, gets released. It is full of beautiful cinematography, including one scene in which Stone and Gosling go drifting off into the night sky while dancing.

"La La Land" was directed by "Whiplash" wunderkind Damien Chazelle and produced by Marc Platt, Fred Berger, Gary Gilbert and Jordan Horowitz.

John Legend is among the executive producers, and he also has a supporting role in the film along with Chazelle's "Whiplash" star J.K. Simmons, Rosemarie DeWitt and "The Big Short" star Finn Wittrock.

Distributed by Summit Entertainment, the film will open Dec. 2 in limited release before going wide on Dec. 16.
