KFC has unleashed fried chicken-scented sunscreen into the world

Fried chicken might be able to keep you from getting extra crispy yourself.

Kentucky Fried Chicken has created an "exclusive and extremely limited run of fried chicken-scented sunscreen," according to a press release.

And sorry, you cannot eat it. Seriously, this is NOT food.

"Even though this product smells delicious, it is not delicious," the release says.

The way it works is, apparently, very simple.

UV rays bounce off your skin and "fragrance rays" penetrate it, so you can get that "healthy chicken" smell so many people want.

According to the website, the sunscreen is now all gone.

Nothing gold (or a warm, toasted brown) can stay, apparently.
