Fab or Flop: Best and worst dressed celebs of the week

One of this biggest red carpet offenses is making yourself look older than you actually are -- especially in youth-obsessed Hollywood.

Jodie Sweetin was among these wrongdoers in a frumpy gray tie-dye muumuu and a very dated hairstyle. Actress Natalie Dormer's soft white suit with wide pantlegs and sleeves felt a little drab and more appropriate for an actress older than Dormer's 34 years.

It wasn't just the ladies this week, either. Ansel Elgort looked absolutely ridiculous in a bizarre outfit comprised of cropped camo pants, a green buttondown and way-too-small printed black blazer.

But while there were some definite misses, stars like Natalie Portman, Rita Ora and Chris Pine hit some high notes in killer styles. Click through the slideshow below for this week's best and worst dressed celebs.

Fab or Flop: Week of Aug. 14

Flop: We're not sure what Ansel Elgort was thinking when he stepped into this outrageously mismatched outfit. The green buttondown and camo pants were odd enough, but he pushed it over the edge with his size-too-small printed blazer.

Fab: Chris Pine looked totally dapper in black cropped slacks, chic loafers and a cool printed short-sleeved buttondown.

Fab: Rita Ora knocked it out of the park in a stunning off-the-shoulder black and white top with blouson sleeves. Cropped black slacks and pointy white heels matched the cool top perfectly. Pulled-back hair and glam makeup complemented the sophisticated look.

Flop: Justin Bieber's lady love, Sofia Richie, looked silly in this oversized black, green and yellow overcoat.

Fab: Lady Gaga turned heads in a see-through tee that left her bare bust exposed. Tucked into ash gray jeans and paired with an edgy studded belt and black booties, the look was a total win.

Flop: Elle Fanning's corset tutu dress looked like it was designed by a 5-year-old. The chains, bows and patches were a bit over-the-top.

Fab: Model Shannan Click opted for a gunmetal spaghetti strap gown, loose waves and red lips.

Flop: Tove Lo's oversized bomber jacket looks frumpy over her super high-waisted acid wash denim skirt.

Fab: Fergie was totally rockstar-chic in cool, zipper-adorned white skinnies, an oversized striped buttondown, necktie and "steel-toed" booties. A black tote back and sunnies completed her killer ensemble. (Similar shirt here.)

Flop: Singer Anne-Marie took a little too much inspiration from the '90s -- and Disney princess Jasmine -- in this off-the-shoulder bandeau and oversized purple pleated pants. Furry slides and statement earrings added to the messy look.

Fab: Karrueche Tran flashed her defined abs in high-waisted, wide-legged blue pants with a strappy black belt and black tube top.

Flop: Ariel Winter turned heads in a totally '70s-inspired pinstripe suit by Alice + Olivia and a very low-cut black crop top -- but the pants didn't fit her correctly and the print was a bit too gaudy for our taste.

Fab: Sofia Black D'Elia did metallics right in a fun short-sleeved gown with a sexy thigh-high slit.

Fab: Zoe Saldana wowed in a gorgeous gold long-sleeved midi dress with a turtleneck collar and cool, geometric print. Nude heels, drop earrings and an updo completed her chic look.

Fab: Ashley Love-Mills was breathtaking in a gorgeous white jumpsuit with a deep, plunging neckline. We love the contrast of her dark locks with the bright-white frock.

Flop: Skai Jackson's floral dress would have been absolutely adorable if not for the sheer cropped cape on top.

Fab: Alex Morgan was totally summery chic in a bell-sleeved romper and nude wedges.

Flop: We typically love Rita Ora's daring styles, but this printed frock totally added bulk to her petite frame. Her wild, teased locks didn't help.

Fab: Model Shanina Shaik was a total bombshell babe in a sexy little red minidress with a halter neckline and keyhole cutout at the bust. Sultry waves and clear, sandals completed her kncokout look. (Similar dress here.)
