Diana Ross took out a full-page ad congratulating her daughter Tracee Ellis Ross on her Emmy nomination
Tracee Ellis Ross loves her mom! When she first found out that she got an Emmy nomination for playing Rainbow Johnson on Black-ish, the first person she called was her mom.
"She was really cute and we screamed for a little bit," Ross told People.
Then the legendary Diana Ross did the cutest famous-mom thing possible and took out a full-page ad in The Hollywood Reporter to congratulate her baby.
"OMG how cute r my mom @DianaRoss & family 4 taking an ad" Ellis Ross tweeted.
Tracee Ellis Ross became the first black woman since Phylicia Rashad in 1986 to get an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy, so the whole thing is both historically significant and very cute!
