Madonna's son, Rocco, is growing up so fast!

The singer took to Instagram multiple times on Thursday to wish her son, who just turned 16, a happy birthday, and she shared some adorable pictures that show just how much Rocco has grown up.

"Happy Birthday to my First Born Son," she captioned one of the photos. "A true Warrior with a beautiful Heart 💘. Let the Sun shine!"

In another, Madonna shared a major throwback pic of her holding Rocco as a little boy writing, "Once my baby always my baby. Happy Sweet 16!"

For her third and final Instagram tribute to her son, Madonna put together a photo of a 15-year-old Rocco riding a skateboard with a young Rocco riding a little scooter.

"Happy Birthday Wild Child," she wrote. "Time waits for no one!!"

The heartwarming birthday snaps are especially good to see following a year filled with custody disputes between Madonna and her ex (and Rocco's father), Guy Ritchie. Though Rocco has been living with his dad across the pond in London, he reunited with his mother back in June.
