Man misses boarding for Ryanair flight, jumps on tarmac and chases plane

Missing a plane is disappointing, but most just deal with the situation by finding another travel option.

A man who got held up in the terminal at a Madrid airport and missed his Ryanair flight to the Canary Islands wasn't so willing to accept his circumstances.

He went through an emergency exit door, into a gangway, and onto the tarmac, notes CNN.

Then, with 2 bags in tow, he chased the plane.

Astonishingly, he was allowed to board.

Upon landing, he was detained and then released but not entirely excused. The man will have to appear in a Gran Canaria court.

In regards to the incident and the footage documenting it, Ryanair commented, "since this video relates to a security breach at Madrid Airport, it's a matter for Madrid Airport Police."
