Photo of man while his partner is in labor proves it's not particularly easy for men either

Though men will never feel the pain of childbirth, they can sure feel the pain of its effects.

Australian mom Alisha Baxter snapped a photo of her partner while she was in labor, and the look on his face says it all.

"I thought I'd share this photo of my partner while I was in labour," she said in the caption on Facebook. "Every time I look at his face and how squished his fingers are I crack up."

He doesn't seem to be having a particularly good time, judging by his bulging eyes, contorted smirk and nearly-shattered fingers.

Baxter posted the photo on the TODAY show Facebook, and others added their responses and hilarious stories about childbirth.

Even her own partner, Jive Ria, responded in a comment:

Just imagine what their responses would be like if they had to feel the same pain!
