Police respond to call concerning man with a gun, find 'Terminator' cutout

Seeing a person brandishing a firearm in the middle of a populated area is no doubt alarming and cause for a call to the police.

On Wednesday night, a woman in Toronto who believed she saw a man holding a gun did just that, and authorities promptly responded.

Upon their arrival, police secured the area then proceeded to investigate, notes CBC News.

While doing so, they kept the public updated on the unfolding situation.

They communicated via a tweet that they were, "on scene searching" and hadn't encountered any injured parties.

Not long after, Toronto police posted a follow-up tweet reading, "...police on scene have located a Terminator cutout holding a gun. #IllBeBack."

The humor following what was no doubt a tense situation was much appreciated by the Twitter followers.
