Celine Dion Pays Emotional Tribute to Her Late Husband on 'Greatest Hits'

Celine Dion continues to remember her husband Rene Angelil through song.

During the live finale of Greatest Hits on Thursday, the 48-year-old singer went live via satellite during her concert in Montreal, Canada, and dedicated her 1997 hit song, "My Heart Will Go On," to her late husband, who died in January after a lengthy battle with throat cancer.

"'My Heart Will Go On' has been an important song in my life for nearly two decades," she shared. "Now and tonight, I'm very honored to sing it for all of you and for the love of my life. Rene, you will always be in my heart."

Dion also plans to pay tribute to Angelil with a tattoo. "Since my husband passed away, they can make the tattoo as his heartbeat," she told The Scene, drawing an EKG line in the air with her hand. "So, I might have his heartbeat on my body for the rest of my life."

In addition to her tattoo plans and recent song dedication, Dion revealed to ET that Pink wrote a track about the loss of her husband. "She is phenomenal. I love her for her talent, for her strength, for her focus, the person she is," she said of the 36-year-old singer. "At the [Billboard Music Awards] when I saw her, I said, 'For you to take the time to really write a song, to give me a tool, a piece of luggage to help me to move forward to walk to keep going... It's called 'Recovering.'"
