Donald Trump campaigns in Maine
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump campaigned in Maine on Thursday. The billionaire businessman held a town hall in Portland at the Merrill Auditorium.
This marked Trump's second visit to the state this election season. He previously visited in June. Trump headlined events in Virginia on Tuesday and hosted a town hall in Daytona Beach, Florida on Wednesday.
The Maine Democratic Party held an event outside the venue Thursday to protest the GOP candidate.

Following the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, Trump's approval ratings have dipped in recent polls, while his competitor Hillary Clinton's numbers have spiked.
A Fox News poll released Thursday morning showed Clinton ahead by 10 points.
