Netflix has renewed Will Arnett comedy "Flaked" for Season 2, the streaming service announced via the show's Facebook page on Thursday.

The show debuted its eight-episode freshman season on March 11. Season 2 will consist of six episodes, set to premiere in 2017, Variety has confirmed.

"Flaked" is described as a dry human comedy about a slice of life centered on Chip, a celebrated long-time resident of the insular world of Venice, California who falls for the object of his best friend's fascination. Soon the tangled web of half-truths that underpins his all-important image and sobriety begins to unravel. Arnett plays Chip, a man doing his honest best to stay one step ahead of his own lies.

The show is executive produced by Arnett and Mark Chappell, along with Ben Silverman, Peter Principato and Mitchell Hurwitz. The cast also includes David Sullivan, Ruth Kearney, Lina Esco and George Basil.
