Everyone's talking about what Tim Kaine looked like when he was younger

The internet is no stranger to digging up photos of people's pasts, for better or worse. Once Virginia Senator Tim Kaine was named Hillary Clinton's running mate, social media did not waste any time finding photos of Kaine early in his career.

Once observers discovered that Kaine was pretty attractive in his younger years, Twitter was buzzing and early photos of the senator soon went viral.

Young Kaine was even compared to Henry Cavill, the actor who played Superman in Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman.

Thankfully, Kaine is not averse to sharing photos of himself. He even posted a "throwback" picture to his Facebook page last year.

Perhaps as this election cycle goes on, Kaine will share more photos -- social media definitely wouldn't mind.
