Michael Lohan says Lindsay is pregnant amid drama with fiance Egor Tarabasov
Amid Lindsay Lohan's relationship drama and reported split with fiance Egor Tarabasov, her father Michael claims his daughter is pregnant.
"She texted it to me and told me ... I don't know [how far along she is]," Michael told Page Six on Thursday.
The text allegedly read: "Daddy, I'm pregnant."
"I was a little bit taken aback, but it was to be expected," Michael elaborated. "She's 30 years old. She wants to have babies. She loves kids. She's had relationships with people in the past who have children and she's very close to them. She's got a very maternal instinct."
After accusing her 23-year-old fiance of cheating on her with a "Russian hooker" Saturday night in a series of scathing Instagram posts, Lindsay hinted on Twitter that she was pregnant in a since-deleted tweet.
Later that evening, a video surfaced by one of Lindsay's London neighbors, which shows Lindsay screaming at Tarabasov during a fight, "Please, please, please. He just strangled me. He almost killed me."
Police were called to the apartment.
After the incident, Lindsay has been spotted getting some R&R on a yacht with friends. Page Six noted that she was smoking a cigarette on the trip.
Michael explained: "Well, people smoke when they're pregnant. People drink when they're pregnant. Lindsay doesn't drink ... I'm very proud of her because through this whole thing most people might have relapsed. They might have had a drink or taken pills or something. She stayed clean and sober through this whole situation."
