Fast food dollar menus can be your best bet for a cheap snack when you're on the go. But, some restaurants are altering their dollar menus and heavily promoting "bundled" or "value" deals instead.
For example, McDonald's unveiled its "McPick 2" value meal — which gives customers the choice to mix and match two value items for only a few bucks — earlier this year. Meanwhile, Wendy's offers a "4 for $4 Meal," and Burger King has a "5 for $4 Deal."
Although these value deals might one day replace traditional dollar menus, there are still some fast food joints that sell individual items for $1 or less.
