Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney break off their engagement

Lady Gaga and her fiance "Chicago Fire" star Taylor Kinney have broken up, sources tell TMZ.

The duo, who have been dating for five years, reportedly parted ways last month and have been spending a ton of time solo. Gaga was recently spotted out in Malibu without her engagement ring and she's currently in Mexico on vacation sans bling and fiance.

They were last spotted publicly together in early March.

Kinney proposed to Gaga with a massive heart-shaped rock on Valentine's Day 2015. The duo never set a wedding date, but they did share some details over the past year about what their big day might look like.

The "American Horror Story: Hotel" actress told Women's Wear Daily in May that she'd choose a dress with her future husband in mind. "It will be totally for Taylor," she said. "It's all about my man. I haven't really thought about anything specific yet, but whatever it is, it will be totally for him."

Kinney later said in an interview that he'd prefer a small chapel wedding, but Gaga would likely want something bigger. "I could go to the Little White Chapel, but I think, well, she's an Italian and that won't happen . . . She wants a nice big wedding."

Unfortunately, it sounds like that trip down the aisle won't be happening afterall. Details on their breakup remain vague, but they do appear to have called it quits.
