The past week in news was a long one, and often a sad one. Around the United States, demonstrations as part of the Black Lives Matter movement continued, and many mourned the deaths of five Dallas police who were shot while guarding one of the peaceful protests.

Elsewhere, more than 80 people were killed in an attack in Nice, France, during a Bastille Day celebration.
