Blake Lively: There's a 'Strong Chance' of a New 'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' Movie

The Sisterhood lives on. Blake Lively, Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel and America Ferrera reunited in New York on Friday and commemorated the occasion with a couple of selfies.

"All grown up," Ferrera captioned the photo of the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" co-stars she posted to Instagram, adding some hashtags: "#blakesfingerinmynose #ambersfingerinmymouth #alexisisatruelady #sisterlove #holdtighttotheonesyoulove"

In 2014, Alloy Entertainment announced it was developing a threequel to the original film, based on Anne Bashares' book "Sisterhood Everlasting."

All four actresses expressed interest in reprising their roles, though no official announcements have been made since.

"Sisterhood Everlasting" finds that the four friends have grown apart in the 10 years since the last film in the franchise, though Tibby tries to bridge the distance by reuniting the girls for a trip that will change their lives forever.

For now, "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" fans can take comfort in the actresses' continued real-life friendship.

Lively currently stars in "The Shallows," which has enjoyed a surprisingly positive reception from critics and theatergoers, earning over $41 million on a $17 million budget after two weeks in theaters.
