Disney released the teaser one-sheet for Beauty and the Beast on Thursday morning, and it throws back to original film's iconic imagery.

The poster highlights a single rose in a glass case within the icy and desolate castle, a visual made famous from the original animated classic. In the film, the enchanted flower is a reminder to the Beast of the curse put upon him to rid the prince of his selfishness.

It is held in the Beast's chambers serves as a countdown to his sealed fate, whatever that may be. As the narrator explains in the 1991 film: "If he could learn to love another, and earn their love in return by the time the last petal fell, then the spell would be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time."

The live-action musical re-telling stars Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Kevin Kline, Josh Gad, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Audra McDonald, Ian McKellen and Emma Thompson.

Beauty and the Beast hits theaters March 17, 2017.
