3 things we approve: Splash FAMILY, Cena and going all out in pick-up ball

It's much more enjoyable to talk about the things you enjoy than the things you dislike, right? So before your Wednesday gets started, here's a quick rundown of sports things that caught our eyes.

First up, let's talk about the Warriors (because the sports world definitely hasn't talked about Kevin Durant leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder in the dust enough).

The former MVP didn't betray the only franchise he called home. As a matter of fact, our friend DJ Gallo put his career decision in perfect perspective:

Whether you like it or not, Golden State will feature an unprecedented offensive attack, supported by a four-man core which drained 964 3-pointers this past season. Oh, and the team also employs several others who can shoot from long distance.

For context, the San Antonio Spurs ranked second in that category last campaign -- and 22nd all-time for a single season -- with 570.

Go ahead and shake your head in amazement for what's about to come.

Here are some things you shouldn't do, though: Don't go overboard by saying this team will easily surpass the record 73 regular-season wins. Don't underestimate the losses of Andrew Bogut, Festus Ezeli and Harrison Barnes. Don't be surprised when this team goes through a slump and people start wondering if the chemistry isn't working and/or Curry and KD can't decide who 'The Man' is. But after all that, more than anything, don't bet against this crew in the 2017 NBA Finals.

For the fun we're about to witness, we'll give it all a thumbs up.

Next up, we have John Cena, who made a young fan's dreams come true on Monday night when he brought him to the middle of the ring at the conclusion of Monday Night Raw's filming.

Check it out:

Isaac, who battled pediatric cancer for two years before being declared cancer-free, was holding a sign that read: 'I am a pediatric cancer & bone marrow transplant survivor.'

During Raw's stop in Columbus, Cena decided to bring Isaac to center ring after he spotted him sitting ringside wearing a "Make A Wish" shirt and a "Never Give Up" headband.

"I wanted to make Isaac's Independence Day by giving him a moment of what it's like to be a WWE superstar," Cena said. "I always preach the motto 'Never Give Up.' It's one thing to talk about it, but it's another thing to do it."

Big thumbs up, big guy.

Finally, we have this incredible human who takes pick-up ball WAY too seriously.

Big No. 23, bless his heart, reminds us of the great Deion Sanders quote: "When you look good, you feel good. When you feel good, you play good. When you play good, they pay good."

Only, this guy isn't getting paid by anybody to play. He just shelled out a lot for the uniform and sneakers.

We'll give him a thumbs up anyway.
