Quvenzhané Wallis is growing up right in front of our eyes!

The actress, who we first met when she was nominated for an Oscar at the young age of 9 for her role in "Beasts of the Southern Wild," looked like a growing teenager on Sunday night at the 2016 BET Awards.

Quvenzhané Wallis at the 2016 BET Awards:

We almost didn't recognize the adorable actress, who went from cute kiddo to pretty young adult in what seems like a matter of minutes. Wallis, now 12, looked lovely at the award show in a teal shift dress and a pair of white flats. She finished off her red carpet-ready look with a white purse, a cute watch and a set of pearls. She wore her hair down in chin-length curls.

It's hard to believe how fast Wallis is growing up. Just two years ago she was starring as the young orphan Annie in the re-make of the musical movie, "Annie," and now it looks like she'll need more roles fit for a teenager. Wallis most recently starred in Beyonce's "Lemonade."
