Taylor Lautner is about to shape shift into the world's prettiest doctor.

The Twilight actor is checking into Scream Queens' hospital-themed second season in a series-regular role, TVLine has learned. He'll be playing "Dr. Cassidy Cascade," an MD who suffers from a strange medical condition (hmmm... ) and becomes a suspect when a series of tragic events plagues the institution.

For Season 2, Ryan Murphy's horror satire is eschewing college life for the medical world, with the action taking place at a hospital where the most fascinating and bizarre cases are under observation. As previously reported, Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Glen Powell and Niecy Nash are all set to reprise their Season 1 characters.

He most recently co-starred in the U.K. sitcom Cuckoo.
