Miami's Most Expensive Penthouse Flip

A 10 percent price reduction may not sound like much when it comes to shopping for something like clothing or beauty products.

But when we're talking about a $53M penthouse in South of Fifth, Miami's most sought after neighborhood, we're looking at around a $5.5M discount. We'll take it!

The penthouse at 321 Ocean Drive in Miami Beach, Florida is a one-of-a-kind dream pad for anyone who craves equal parts cityscape and equal parts beach access.

The place stretches from the 9th to 10th floors of the building, amassing about 6,800 square feet total.

Four bedrooms and seven bathrooms are spread out in an open-flow floor plan that also includes a Sub-Zero appliance stocked kitchen, an office and a media room.

The real stars of the show, however, are outside – a private rooftop terrace complete with plenty of space to entertain (it's finished with a lounge and full bar) and to relax and take in the view from the 36-foot infinity pool that overlooks all of South Beach.

On the market since last December, the current owners purchased the penthouse last summer for $20M and have since put in a whopping $6M in custom upgrades and renovations.

The new listing price is a pretty $47.5M.

It's the second most expensive unit on the market in the South Beach area, following a $55M penthouse at the Faena House.

Now, check out this 78th floor penthouse in Manhattan that's just as breathtaking:
