OnlyOnAOL: Ricky Gervais' David Brent is 'cumin' for you, guys

He's baaaaaaaaack.

David Brent, the deluded, obnoxious, weird middle-manager from the British version of "The Office," is trying his hand at music at in "David Brent: Life on the Road." The mockumentary has been picked up by Netflix.

Gervais recently stopped by AOL BUILD, so we asked him about Brent's triumphant return.

"The world had changed. It's not 'The Office,'" says Gervais.

And Brent, who was created and played by Gervais, is no longer running the show in Slough.

"Brent is like a real person. What would he be doing now? He's never given up the dream for fame," says Gervais.
