Justin Bieber is trying to shut down a website
Justin Bieber isn't pleased with the way the media have been covering his actions lately, and one outlet has made him particularly angry.
He took to Instagram to encourage his fans to help him "shut down" a website that has been "hurtful" and "untruthful."

The focus of his vengeance, Hollywood Life, is an entertainment website that targets millennial women.

This isn't the only time recently that a highly influential person has attempted to shut down a publication.
The 22-year-old singer began his crusade against the company in the wake of Peter Thiel's battle against Gawker.
In contrast with the other media squabble, this one manifests itself on social media instead of through a lawsuit.
People are now using the hashtag #ShutDownHollywoodLife to protest the website's coverage.
@hollywoodlife are deleting the Justin Bieber stories yay #ShutDownHollywoodLife

Bieber's 71.5 million Instagram followers make a powerful army, but so far the website is still running.
