The Tony Awards have dedicated tonight's show to Orlando
The Tony Awards are set to take place tonight, June 12th at 8pm EST, but the magnitude of today's events are not lost on Broadway's biggest night. The 2016 Tonys have been dedicated to those lost and affected by the events in Orlando, Florida, with the following statement released:
"Our hearts are heavy for the unimaginable tragedy that happened last night in Orlando. Our thoughts are with the families and friends of those affected. The Tony Awards dedicate tonight's ceremony to them."
