Best and worst dressed at the 2016 Tony Awards

Updated

It may have been Broadway's biggest night, but stars from TV, film and more got in on the fun, too.

Celebs like Saoirse Ronan, Cate Blanchett, Jourdan Dunn and more joined Broadway's finest on the Tony Awards red carpet in daring black-tie styles. But while some looks totally hit a high note, others missed the mark.

Ronan was among the worst dressed of the night. The typically well-dressed "Brooklyn" actress looked a bit washed out -- and nearly naked -- in a form-fitting nude dress that matched her skintone. Cate Blanchett also disappointed (and surprisingly so) in a frumpy and strange-looking black-and-white gown with leather sleeves, a leather bustier and mismatched fabric patchworked throughout.

"Glee" actress Jenna Ushkowitz, also in black and white, donned a more refined, modern gown with geometric panels featuring black, white and floral textiles. (Similar here.) A teased updo, pink lips and box clutch completed her fashionable look. Model Jourdan Dunn stunned in a gorgeous blush Zac Posen high-low creation with a bustier top and elegant train. Soft waves, a double-wrapped diamond necklace and sandals completed her glamorous look.
