Bachelorette fans mistake Chad Ochocinco for Season 12 villain
Children, please: Chad Ochocinco is in no way, shape, or form the same person as Chad from The Bachelorette. However, that didn't stop some misguided fans from blowing up the former Pro Bowler's mentions on Twitter on Tuesday.
This season of the long-running ABC reality series prominently featured Chad Johnson, a 28-year-old real estate agent from Tulsa, OK. Johnson almost immediately assumed a villainous role within the mansion by aggressively antagonizing every other potential suitor for the show's titular single lady, JoJo Fletcher.

During the conclusion of this week's special two-part episode of The Bachelorette, Chad completed his Mr. McMahon style heel turn, and ultimately gotkicked off the competition. As the audience laid witnessed to Chad's arrogance and aggravating demeanor, they took their frustrations to Twitter. Unfortunately, instead of dogging Bachelorette Chad, a lot of them accidentally went after Ochocinco – whose real name is also Chad Johnson.
A generally genial guy, Ochocinco responded to some of the Bachelorette-related shade thrown his way by cheekily referring to himself as "the black Chad," and didn't forget to remind anyone how much he loves them. For example, check out this thread between Ochocinco and Twitter user Geri:
Hi Geri, I'm the black Chad, you're referring to the other Chad from The Bachelor, I love you. https://t.co/HuAKKThgGK

Ochocinco even referenced his past experiences with anger management classes, after Geri suggested he take some.
Coincidently I took my classes in 2012 & it helped tremendously, but I'm the black Chad & I love you. https://t.co/RXa21lGW6V

Geri appreciated Ochocinco's rapport and the amount of love he showed her, to which she responded with "I love you too black Chad!" Ochocinco replied with a promise:
This is totally awesome, I will converse w/ the white Chad so he becomes a bit more appealing & likable, I love you. https://t.co/mbvxKpxYEl

Come to think of it, getting both Chad Johnson's in a room with each other would definitely make for an interesting experience. Are you listening, ABC?
