It's no secret that parenting can be a tough job, especially for a first timer.

Normally when kids are finally old enough to be left alone with a babysitter, their parents are dying for a break.

Well one very nervous dad had an overly obvious way of showing how he felt.

Reddit user Fordiman recently shared the over-the-top instructions he sent to a babysitter the first time he left his infant son alone, and it's hilarious -- make sure you read all the way through so you don't miss any details.

Maybe he should've considered writing a parenting 101 book!
