Trump aide shoots down Mark Cuban as a potential VP

Donald Trump aide says the presumptive GOP nominee is not considering 'Shark Tank' star Mark Cuban as a potential running mate.
Appearing on FOX News Thursday afternoon, spokeswoman Katrina Pierson downplayed the idea, saying Trump "isn't really considering" his fellow billionaire for a vice presidential option.
Pierson said, "Though it does make for good news and good TV, Mark Cuban really isn't a consideration when we're talking about moving America forward."

This comes a day after Cuban questioned Trump's wealth on a radio show, telling WABC some of the real-estate mogul's deals came across as "desperate."
"So when you're putting your name on steaks, and you're putting your name on water, you're putting your name on playing cards, you're putting your name on all this nonsense, right? You're not gonna make big bucks, no matter what," Cuban said. "It's not like Trump Steaks were gonna make him $100 million. It's not like it was gonna make him $5 million."

The Dallas Mavericks owner has in the past said he'd consider being on the ticket with either Trump or his likely opponent,
He told Business Insider last year he liked that Trump said what was on his mind.
"I don't care if he says the wrong thing," he told the site. "He gives honest answers rather than prepared answers. This is more important than anything any candidate has done in years."
