Ratings: 'The Voice' tops 'Dancing With the Stars' in big battle of season finales

"The Voice" and "Dancing With the Stars" both crowned their winners on Tuesday night, but it was the NBC reality competition that truly topped the evening.

The singing show bested the dancing one in all key measures — including total viewers, with ABC's offering usually has a leg up on. "The Voice" scored a 2.1 rating/7 share in the key 18-49 demographic to a 1.6/5 out of "DWTS." The matchup- was much closer among overall audience members, as NBC's finale topped ABC's version 10.396 million to 10.295 million.
