Erin Andrews makes surprising admission about 'DWTS' finale dress

Erin Andrews donned many show-stopping gowns this season on 'Dancing With the Stars,' but what she wore during Tuesday night's Season 22 finale was the one that topped them all.

The 38-year-old host wore a skin-baring Davidson Zanine gown that made jaws drop for all the wrong reasons. She described the look as "very outside the box" -- and indeed it was!

"We had to get approval for how much skin we were showing," her stylist Alyssa Greene revealed. "In the end we had to cover up a little more than we would have liked but we still totally went for the sheer sexy look."

The racy number was definitely quite a change from the more conservative looks she sported throughout the season, like the Tinker Bell-inspired gown during a Disney-themed episode.

While it seems like Andrews was head-over-heels with her edgy look, many fans didn't feel the same way.

Many took to Twitter to slam the blonde bombshell on her risqué look.

"Whoever picked out that dress for you is not your friend. Just sayin," one user wrote.

Another was quick to give her a backhanded compliment: "Erin Andrews not loving your 'gown'. U are much 2 beautiful for that dress."
