Young Banker Suffers Fatal Fall After Reportedly Eating Magic Mushrooms

A young Manhattan banker was pronounced dead on Sunday, having suffered a fatal fall from the window of his 26th floor apartment, reports the New York Post.

23-year-old Alex Lagowitz had reportedly taken hallucinogenic mushrooms early that morning.

At roughly 10 am, his body was discovered on the patio of a 3rd floor unit.

Authorities are still unsure whether his plunge was accidental or intentional.

They have arrested the man's roommate for "possession of a controlled substance," according to the Daily Mail.

Not long before becoming an analyst for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Lagowitz graduated summa cum laude from Colgate University.
