Woman Arrested After Nearly 1,000 Bags of Heroin Found In Her Car

Putnam — Police arrested a woman after they found 907 bags of heroin in her car.

Police arrested Melissa Wagner, 27, of Putnam, and charged her with possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell, and possession drug paraphernalia.

Police said they received reports of a woman passed out in a car in the parking lot of the Walmart in Putnam.

When police arrived, they said Wagner was outside the car and she admitted having a large amount of heroin.

In addition to the heroin, police said she also had crack cocaine, and other drugs.

She was held on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
