Beyonce cuddles up with 'proud dad' Mathew Knowles for family photo

Beyonce and her widely-reported issues with her father Mathew Knowles appear to be a thing of the past.

The pop superstar and her dad cuddled for a photo posted on Instagram by Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson.

"Houston Concert proud dad!!!!" Tina captioned a picture snapped at Bey's May 7 NRG Stadium concert.

Many Beyonce fans had assumed she'd had a falling out with her father after "Daddy Lessons" came to light, the Lemonadetrack in which we hear a dad warning his daughter to avoid men like him.

Tina and Matthew first separated in 2009 and later divorced in 2011, at least in part due to the revelation that Knowles had fathered a child with another woman. But it was all-smiles when the pair caught up at the show.

Beyonce's Formation World Tour moves on to Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Canada on Friday (May 20).
