300 Pounds of Cocaine Found in Bananas

Police in Spain revealed an unusual find inside a shipment of plastic bananas ... cocaine! Officers found the drug in all 19 boxes that arrived at the port of Algeciras from Colombia!

Each box contained 88 bananas for a total of 1,672 of the coke filled fruit. A giant red X on the pallet is what tipped police off to check out the contents.

The drugs are worth a total of 19 million dollars and are now under lock and key with the national police.

Drug dealers continue to get more and more creative trying to get their hauls into foreign countries, recently border agents in the U.S. found marijuana stuffed in coconuts, while others have discovered drugs hidden inside surf boards, wigs and even frozen goat meat.
