Neighbor's note about stolen package goes viral

A handwritten note has taken the internet by storm. Or, at least the popular message board site Reddit is amused.

The brief missive, signed by one "Malcolm" reads in its entirety: "Think you might have had a parcel delivery left by your side gate. Saw some gypsies pinch it. Would have stopped them if you had been nicer neighbors."

A discussion then ensued as to what Malcolm's neighbors must have done to upset him so much.

As it turns out, Malcolm is apparently a bit of a prankster, according to the original poster with the username cubesnack.

The Redditor wrote, "Update: Found out that Malcolm and his wife are actually quite a funny couple. They are retired and apparently spend their days tormenting my friend for their own pleasure. I have asked for more stuff by Malcolm."
