Inside the complicated romantic web between Orlando Bloom, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Miranda Kerr

After the recent news that photos leaked of Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom getting cozy in a Vegas nightclub, despite Bloom's seemingly current romance with Katy Perry, we realized that there's much more to this celebrity love triangle.

Actually, it's not a love triangle at all: It's a love pentagon. You see, in addition to involving Gomez, Bloom and Perry, this complicated web of romance has a deep, two-year-long history that also involves Justin Bieber and Miranda Kerr. Confused? We'll map everything we know out for you below.

December 2010: Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, aka "Jelena," were spotted getting cozy on a trip to IHOP together, seemingly confirming their already-rumored relationship. Fans of the budding teen stars were, understandably, over the moon.

February 2011: Gomez and Bieber made their first major public appearance together at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party, going so far as to coordinate their black and red outfits.

October 2012: Bieber was the musical guest for the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Behind-the-scenes reports claimed that Bieber and model Miranda Kerr exchanged flirty texts and the two were scene kissing on the cheek. Rumors swirled that the pair hooked up after the show, though Kerr and her lawyers publicly denied those claims.

November 2012: After nearly two years of intense dating that included trips to Hawaii, public displays of affection and renting out the STAPLES Center (yep, you read that correctly), Gomez and Bieber broke up (seemingly) for good. At the time, Bieber was quoted as saying, "I don't know what to say. I don't know what's going on in my life." The reason for their first major breakup was allegedly Gomez's "trust issues" with Bieber.

January 2013: Despite being seen together in Salt Lake City after their breakup, Gomez looked to be totally over Bieber when she posted this picture on Instagram wearing a Stratford Cullitons hat (Bieber's hometown hockey team) while throwing up two peace signs.

April - July 2013: Gomez and Bieber had people asking, "Are they or aren't they?" after Bieber posted a couple of Instagram snaps of the pair hanging out. One of them, a black and white shot of Gomez embracing Bieber from behind, was particularly romantic.

January 2014: After over six months of apparent distance between the two stars, Bieber took to Instagram with a cuddly picture of himself wrapped in Gomez embrace with the caption, "Love the way you look at me."

April 2014: Orlando Bloom and Gomez are spotted sitting on the sidewalk together outside of The Forum in Los Angeles. Gomez has posted an innocent Instagram of them hanging out the month earlier.

June 2014: Following even more time of speculation about the status of their relationship, sources close to the pair confirmed that they're indeed back together. Bieber posted another intimate black and white photo of them cuddling, this time captioned, "Our love is Unconditional." He later deleted it.

July 2014: TMZ posted a video of Bloom throwing a punch at Bieber. Conflicting reports made claims about what was said between the two before it got physical, but both sides agreed that it was Miranda Kerr that fueled the fire.

August 2014: Kerr denied that she ever slept with Bieber.

December 2014 - January 2015: Gomez was linked to the DJ Zedd, who posted a photo of the two intimately FaceTiming while Gomez laid in bed. Nothing between them was ever truly confirmed. Similarly, Bieber was linked to model Hailey Baldwin after photos of them surfaced.

November 2015: Over a year of uncertainty surrounding Jelena -- they're spotted together numerous times, but nothing was ever confirmed -- Bieber is caught on camera serenading Gomez by singing "My Girl" on a piano at a hotel in Los Angeles. Later that month, Bieber released his album Purpose, a majority of which he confirms on "The Ellen Show," is written about his feelings for Gomez.

January 2016 - April 2016: Katy Perry and Bloom sparked romance rumors after being spotted together at a Golden Globes after party. The pair were subsequently photographed packing on PDA in Hawaii and reports of them hanging out continued to surface.

May 2016: Gomez and Bloom were photographed getting cozy and seemingly making out at a Las Vegas nightclub, despite Bloom's allegedly current romance with Katy Perry. Bloom and Perry had been spotted at a Met Gala after party just two weeks prior. Perry, smitten with Bloom, tweeted a cryptic message about wanting to grow old with someone the same night that Bloom and Gomez were spotted kissing:
