College Students Forced to Take Exorcism Class

By: Amanda Kabbabe/Patrick Jones for Buzz 60

As it turns out, "The Sociology of Miley Cyrus" isn't the most bizarre class offered by a university.

Students at the University College of Barberán and Collán in Spain are being required to take a class on exorcisms.

The seminar will be taught by an expert priest and is being added as a pre-requisite in the school's curriculum.

Surprisingly, there have been no formal complaints about the class at the publicly-funded school, despite the fact that it will have obvious and extreme religious connotations.

The seminar, called "The Evil," will consist of a series of lectures about "fields related to the devil, exorcisms, being possessed and hell."

Attendance will be mandatory, unless students have a valid excuse.

It has yet to be determined whether a doctor can excuse a student from class because the thought of exorcisms gives them the "heebie-jeebies."
