Summer is generally packed with American holidays, but this year, with the election and the Olympics going on, it has the potential to be an extra patriotic time.

The beer maker intends to, for a time, change the name of Budweiser to "America."

Previews of the new label show it is chock full of historic U.S. references, including lyrics from "The Star-Spangled Banner," notes the Washington Post.

The design has been submitted to the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau for approval.
